    Meanwhile, if you have a hybrid, pre-cool it before you get in so it can devote more electricity to driving when you are out on the road.

    “Hybrid” is not the correct term here. Electric Vehicle (EV) is the correct term. Traditional Hybrid vehicles don’t have the electrical connectivity that enables them to pre-cool or pre-heat from the grid or other external power sources.
