    it’s a waste of effort – better approach would be to move away from industrial farming, ethanol for gasoline, and let managed grazing put the carbon back in the ground – way better method to fix the problem AND have healthier food and eco-systems!

    Grazing livestock creates more GHGs than CAFO-sourced flesh. It sounds counter-intuitive given what we’ve heard but it was an unfounded wish from ranchers. End all animal agriculture, lower the human population via natural attrition (have fewer children), reform economic systems that currently find it impossible to price the innate value of goods and services, work for social and economic justice everywhere, and live a vegan human ecology— simultaneously. We cannot do one or two of these as failing in one neutralizes the others. Together, we can make it.
